Changes in Policy and Course Schedule: Milne Studio reserves the right to combine, add, delete, change courses, or convert existing in-studio courses to digital online courses. Milne Studio also reserves the right to make changes in faculty, school calendar and any general or specific studio or course or coaching policy at any time.
Intellectual Property: The content of this website is intended solely for the individual(s) whom visit it, and is considered confidential and privileged information. If you are not the intended recipient, any dissemination or copying is strictly prohibited. Students, interns, and staff studying or working at Milne Studio whom are privy to it’s intellectual property are prohibited from duplicating Milne Studio Classes or Services. Theft and/or Re-purposing of Intellectual Property or copyright material is a criminal offense. Intellectual Property in Canada. Milne Studio intellectual property includes and is not limited to all photographs and video’s captured and recorded by Milne Studio during classes, bootcamps, private coaching, self tapes and demo reel sessions. Milne Studio has full right to use all captured media of actors at a Milne Studio base or on location for the purposes of marketing videos, educational videos and archives. Milne Studio reserves the right to withhold media captured media of actors at a Milne Studio base or on location from being distributed if Milne Studio deems the content to not meet the Milne Studio level of standards.
Attendance: To derive the full benefit of the workshops at Milne Studio, it is essential that absences and tardiness be kept to a minimum. The classes are based on participation, therefore regular attendance is necessary to successfully complete the course. Each student’s record of attendance and participation will be monitored and in cases of extreme absenteeism or tardiness, Milne Studio may take disciplinary action.
It is at the discretion of the instructor to set attendance expectations. There are no make-up classes, credits or refunds for time missed under any circumstances unless otherwise discussed with your instructor.
Payment: [Applies to all payments made to Milne Studio via Brad Milne] Payment may be made in the form of cash, money order, personal check or checks drawn on credit cards and through the Milne Studio website using the PayPal system.
The student must be paid in full prior to attending classes. Milne Studio will accept payments, known as the “Pay Ahead Program”. Operating much like a lay-a-way plan, the student makes payments toward the purchase of the class. Under no circumstance will the student be allowed to attend prior to payment in full. Milne Studio may offer discounts. The discounts will be advertised along with the price of the workshop and may not be used in combination with any other discount. Only one discount per workshop will be given. There will be fee of $40 for any returned checks and the balance due must be paid in full [the amount of the check plus $40] in cash within 5 business days.
Refund Policy:
– Ongoing Classes
* A full refund or credit will be made to the student should Milne Studio cancel a workshop, seminar, session or course. Should Milne Studio postpone the workshop, seminar, session or course to a new date the fee paid is non refundable.
* After a 4 or 8 class pack or 8 week course is purchased it is non-refundable.
* After a weekend or One day special Seminar, Bootcamp, Workshop, Private Coaching, Self Tape, Career Counseling or Demo Reel Service is purchased it is non-refundable.
Payments made through PayPal with credit or debit card will follow the same policy as those paid by Cash, Check or Money Order.
Virtual Class: From time to time Brad Milne will be called away from the studio for work in the field and will connect with the class through our distance learning digitally based studio. These classes will be counted as a regular studio class and will be administered by the attending assistant manager. Please view this video which overviews the virtual and in studio learning environment.
Short Class: If at anytime during the duration of the workshop enrollment or attendance drops below class minimum [usually 4 or less], AT THE DISCRETION OF THE INSTRUCTOR, the class maybe called short of the pre-designated time period [usually 2-3 hours], provided the class meets a minimum of 2/3 of the pre-designated time. [usually 1.5-2 hours] The student will not be compensated with either refund or credit.

Harassment: Milne Studio faculty, staff and students of the school shall not condone any actions which a reasonable person would consider as either gender discrimination or sexual harassment. Complaints of sexual harassment should be made to Milne Studio Director in writing. Every effort will be made to resolve problems on an individual basis. Any transgressions of this policy will result in prompt and appropriate disciplinary action.
Alcohol/Drug Use: The unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs or alcohol by students, associates, and sub-contractors is prohibited. Milne Studio is a drug free workplace as defined by federal regulation. Students, associates, and sub-contractors found in violation of any local, state or federal law regarding the use, possession or distribution of alcohol or other illicit drugs will be subject to disciplinary procedure and, in addition may be subject to legal action.

Office Rules and Procedures: The Administrative office is to be used by Milne Studio staff and faculty only. Unauthorized entry and/or use of the office by any student or non-associates, or sub-contractors may result in disciplinary action.
Student Rule of Conduct: Milne Studio students are to conduct themselves in a manner befitting a professional learning environment. All students must respect the rights of others. Our students are individually representative of Milne Studio as a whole and therefore it is expected that behavior outside of the classroom as well as in class, reflects that of professionals. Milne Studio reserves the right to refuse admission, dismiss or expel any student who is not in compliance with this Rule of Conduct.
Student Dress Code: Milne Studio faculty reserves the right to set specific dress code standards for class.
Class Size: The number of students assigned to each class is based on a student/teacher ratio that is beneficial to the goals and objectives of that class. Classes will be structured so that student critiques are easily accomplished. Lecture and Seminar classes may be larger.
Auditors: Auditors are permitted to attend most Actor and Filmmaker Workshops as space permits. Please contact the office for permission and an appointment.
